We have been patiently waiting for six weeks for our home study to be finalized. The Department of Human Services (DHS) for the state of Minnesota has been dragging their feet on approving a new home study template.

We were told by Lutheran Social Services (LSS) last week that the DHS has given LSS a temporary okay to use the template so that the families who are waiting can forward. We now have to wait for our home study to be placed into the template and for the proper authorities within LSS to approve a final draft for us.

Once we are over this hump, we will run like gazelles so that we can get our dossier to Celebrate Children International ASAP in-order to get on a referral list.
